Here's some help about how you can use AreaFix to change your echomail areas.
You just have to write a message to 'AreaFix' and tell AreaFix what he has to
do for you.
Example:
Msg : 13 of 23 Uns Pvt Loc K/s
From : Tobias Burchhardt 2:245/39 Wed 09 Jul 92 12:23
To : AreaFix 2:245/31
Subj : PASSWORD <- Your password
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
RA_UTIL <- Add (link) area
DFUE.GER
-SYSOPS.024 <- Remove (unlink) area
%RESCAN <- Rescan following area(s) and add if area(s)
is/are not linked yet
FASTECHO.GER
%DAYS 7 <- Rescan only messages not older than 7 days
SHAREWRE
%MSGS 100 <- Rescan at most 100 messages each area
FE_HELP
%+ALL <- Add all areas available for you
%-ALL <- Remove all currently linked areas
%QUERY <- Ask for your active areas
%INFO <- Ask for general link information
%LIST <- List available areas
%UNLINKED <- List available areas to which
you are currently not linked
%PASSIVE <- If you go to holiday you can
stop receiving echomail for that
time without manually removing each
area with '-AREANAME'.
%ACTIVE <- Switch echomail receiving ON again.
%PACKER LHA <- Change your packer eg. to LHA
%PASSWORD password <- Change your AreaFix password
%HELP <- AreaFix will send you this help.
Instead of %QUERY, %INFO, %LIST, %UNLINKED and %RESCAN, you can also
specify '-Q', '-I' , '-L', '-U' and '-R' as flags after the password.
Example: password -Q -I
